205.825.5575Botulinum Toxin - Botox®, Daxxify™, Dysport®, Xeomin®, and Jeuveau™ are botulinum toxin neuromodulators made from botulinum toxin-A, used to relax muscles that cause wrinkles from repeated facial movements, like frown lines and crow's feet. The goal is to soften expressions, not freeze the face. Results last 3-4 months and become visible in 72 hours. The procedure is quick, minimally invasive, and has little to no downtime.
Loss of facial volume is a natural part of aging, reducing support for the muscles and skin. This leads to noticeable changes such as hollow temples, sunken eyes, tear troughs, flattened cheeks, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and thin lips. Hyaluronic acid (e.g., Juvederm®, Restylane®, RHA®) and biostimulatory fillers (e.g., Sculptra® and Radiesse®) to are used to restore facial fullness and rejuvenate the overall appearance.
Fillers are pre-loaded at the manufacturer in sterile syringes for precise application. After treatment, mild redness, tenderness, or bruising may occur. To reduce the risk of bruising, patients should avoid non-prescribed blood thinners like aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, and herbal supplements for 1-2 weeks prior. Filler results can last from several months to years, depending on the product, injection site, and individual metabolism.
